JPP Land was formed in 2011 and has quickly established itself as one Berkshire’s most successful, innovative, privately owned property development companies. JPP’s success is built on the cornerstones of experience, agility and speed.
Our team has over 30 years’ experience in land acquisition, planning, design, residential construction and sales, and our high performance is based on strong relationships built on ability and trust.
The JPP team has land development in its DNA, specialising in developing land that has been previously overlooked, providing a successful return on any investment made into it. Our experience embraces a number of senior positions with niche and volume house building companies, taking an assignment from the acquisition of land through to the marketing and sales of a wide variety of new build properties.
JPP’s strength is in developing sites from single residential plots, green belt, office conversions, brownfield, edge-of-settlement sites, assembling land owned by several owners and land which requires decommissioning suitable for housing. Where some see a problem, we invariably see potential.
Our overriding aim is always to balance a profit-for-all approach to land development with the need to retain and enhance community identity and local living. Throughout the process we work with the local community and its need for additional assets by off-setting the loss of any designated areas. Our primary aim is always to harmonise the needs of the community with any encroachment arising from development.
Urban regeneration is a major priority for many UK towns and cities as new planning regulations drive the need for more housing. Taking a sustainable approach to urban regeneration can be complex and challenging, but not impossible. JPP is able to add significant value to the land development process by balancing the needs of all interested parties. Recognising the opportunity, and managing the delivery from all aspects are key to what we do.
Land development, more than ever before, is an activity which must embrace the local community. The Localism legislation introduced by the Government in 2011 and updated in 2013 places decision making firmly at the heart of local government. This means that successful land development needs community support to get off the ground in the first instance.
We recognise at JPP that local support fundamentally drives planning success. Consequently our team ‘lives’ any local issues potentially associated with development. Through a tried and tested process of community engagement our specialists in acquisition, development, planning, design and community affairs listen and respond constructively to any local fears or uncertainties.
We initiate and manage an ongoing dialogue with the key influencers within a
variety of community groups and organisations as well as the local council.
This enables us to deliver a development solution which meets both the Borough’s
and the local parish’s requirements.
